Brighton & Hove Resource Centre
The Centre provides a range of services and support to local groups, especially smaller groups such as residents associations. This is an information rich site, with a directory of the equipment they offer for hire and an online calculator for their printing service.
ESCIS: East Sussex Community Information Service
This is the primary information directory for the local community in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. Maintained jointly by library staff from the two Councils it has over 7,000 records about the community, including health and leisure services and a lot more. SCIP provides hosting, maintenance and ongoing technical development. The latest innovation is the personalisation services known as myESCIS and integration with the Brighton and Hove CityStats service
The Place To Be
A unique search engine for Brighton and Hove, developed in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council, University of Sussex , Brighton University, Virtual Brighton and Hove, Wired Sussex, Brighton and Hove Primary Care Trust and The Argus, and providing tools for research, adult learning and job searches.
Brighton and Hove Web Awards
The city's most prestigious web awards, recognising the best sites from businesses and the community and voluntary sector.
B&H Community and Voluntary Sector Forum
This membership organisation's site features an online directory, library catalogue and content management system, making it easy to manage and a key resource for the local sector.
The Brighton and Hove Volunteer Centre
As well as publishing live volunteering opportunities through links to national volunteering database, this site features a news system which syndicates content city-wide (Community Brighton).
Sussex Interpreting Services
SCIP's accessibility expertise was crucial in making this organisation's site compliant with national standards.
ChangeUp East Sussex
This consultation site was produced in partnership with East Sussex ChangeUp Consortium and features a content management system allowing partner organisations to update the site with news and consultation documents.
Sussex Autistic Society
SCIP provided training and support for the organisation to build and manage its own site.
Care Co-ops
SCIP developed this site as a internal and external communications channel so that volunteers could access information in password protected areas. The site also features a message board, has a news area and is easily updated by the client.
