IT Training for VCOs

SCIP and Working Together Project have been funded by the BASIS programme of the Big Lottery Fund
to deliver a range of new training courses that embed the use of IT into mainstream community training.

Many IT training courses focus on specific packages, such as Excel, Publisher or PowerPoint. The aim of this project is to develop courses which reflect the work that staff and volunteers undertake, such as budgeting, fundraising and communications. Often the courses available from Working Together Project in these subjects do not include the use of IT.
