Brighton Digital Festival
SCIP and Wired Sussex established the Brighton Digital Festival in 2005, based in part on Brighton & Hove Virtual Festival, which SCIP ran from 1998 to 2004.
The Digital Festival ran until 2007 and provided a showcase for the talents of the local community and the many ways that they use new media in business, education and community activities.
SCIP ran Brighton & Hove Web Awards as part of the Brighton Digital Festival. This was a unique showcase that celebrates the great websites being produced in the city. In 2008 it became the Digital Media Awards South [DiMAS]
