Graduate Internship: Marketing Campaign Assistant

SCIP is an innovative social enterprise based in Brighton. Founded in 1995 we deliver IT services including technical support, web design and training to charities and communities in Sussex and surrounding areas of south east England. We enjoy an excellent reputation in our field and offer a mix of paid-for services and grant funded projects.
We work with not for profit organisations of all sizes and enable staff and volunteers to make effective use of IT, from basic IT skills to fundraising using the web, social media and community information systems.
We are currently developing our training services and conducting market research to help target our marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone with good research skills and an understanding of marketing principles to carry out desktop and telephone research as part of our marketing planning. Working with a small team of specialist staff based in central Brighton this is a great chance to help shape SCIP's future and learn more about social enterprise.

Essential Skills
- Knowledge of marketing planning and the role of market research
- Knowledge of market research techniques
- Able to conduct desktop research with minimal supervision
- Well-organised and confident user of the internet
- Confident telephone user
- Knowledge of and interest in social enterprise
- Knowledge of and interest in training and learning activities for organisations and individuals
- Creative thinker with experience of delivering successful marketing activities
- graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or affiliated college in East Sussex or West Sussex in 2008 or 2009
- graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from any other UK university in 2008 or 2009 AND have a permanent address in East Sussex or West Sussex.
