Health Improvement Programme

The Health Improvement Programme is an overall framework for improving the health of local people and reducing health inequalities. It is agreed between local government, the NHS and local communities. East Sussex, Brighton and Hove Health Authority is responsible for co-ordinating the development of the programme.

A Health Improvement Programme takes the form of a rolling three-year strategic plan. Each of the partner agencies uses it as the starting point to develop its own detailed annual plan.
