Drupal CMS wins award
The Content Management System (CMS) which SCIP uses to build the majority of our websites (including our own) has won the prestigious Packt publishing award.
Last year we chose Drupal over a range of competitor CMSs as the best fit for delivering the kind of functionality and accessilbilty our clients require. A close second was Joomla (fromerly known as Mambo) which we also rated and have used ourselves.
Open source content management systems can provide excellent solutions for the voluntary sector, with no ongoing licence costs and a range of developers who can support them.
