SCIP designs resources bank for Jim Simpson

Consultant Jim Simpson turned to SCIP when he needed his website designed.  Jim wanted to a have resource and information library on his website alongside the usual services ‘offer’, CV and general information.

“I wanted to have a place to share the training materials, articles and research I’ve produced through my work with voluntary organisations and public services. 

“SCIP incorporated a library for me to post the articles which I can direct people to. I hope it will drive a lot of traffic and, so far, it has been well used.”

Jim Simpson Consultancy has been providing consultancy, research and learning services since 1997. The business has a well established track record working with organisations in the public sector, the third sector and companies as well as individual clients.

The site, designed by SCIP’s web design manager Mark James was made to be clear, easy to use and welcoming for users.  It also includes a blog which Jim can easily upload himself with information and news about his work.

Jim says:”I’m really pleased with the site, it looks great and I’m especially pleased that it is easy and quick for people to glance at, pick up something useful as well as easy for me to update and develop further”.  SCIP did a fantastic job and helped create a really professional and swish looking product.

“When you’ve put in a lot of work in to something it is great to make it available to a wider audience.”

The subjects on Jim’s site range across all kinds of topics from fundraising, business planning, and fundraising through to group theory, personal development, partnership development and assertiveness skills.

He adds; “Many excellent people – thinkers, researchers and ‘people-work’ practitioners – were involved in conceiving these ideas, tools, commentaries and essays and they are now available for anyone.”
