Training by other Organisations

It has never been our intention to develop as a training organisation to the exclusion of our other activities.

In focussing on the needs of staff and volunteers from community organisations we are keen to help people progress to further courses offered by organisations other than ourselves, whether in web design, IT skills or business planning.

Some of the organisations we suggest talking to are:

The Working Together Project

A longstanding community organisation that runs a regular programme of courses including IT skills, business planning and setting up a community network.

Community-based IT training organisations

Several local community sector organisations now offer training in basic IT skills such as the European Computer Driving Licence. Gaining this sort of qualification is a helpful way to develop more confidence in your IT skills and offers greater breadth and depth than our short courses.

Other local training providers

Brighton City College is the main college in town, but there are other public and private training organisations offering a range of specialist courses.
