Policy Development

This one-day course is for anyone who is new to organisational policy development or for someone looking for new ideas or an opportunity to refresh existing skills. The course will cover:

• The policy development cycle - where to start?
• Identifying organisational policies and procedures
• Research and consultation
• Design and layout of policy documents
• Sign-off, ratification and review
• Using ICT software to enhance your policy writing including spreadsheets, flowcharts and graphs
• Using electronic policy templates

There will also be opportunities for seminar work on your organisational policies.
