Live
At Bovington Camp, BournemouthSplit 7" EP with The Bus Station Loonies, released Summer 2000 RUPTURED AMBITIONS The Bus Station Loonies were like-minded individuals from Plymouth who we felt an immediate affinity with. They are sadly missed. This record isn't live at all, and we shouldn't have said it was because thats lying. But it worked for The Fall. For us though, we just had people asking if it was just a shitty audience recording from a bus shelter in Bournemouth. Ash unfortunately insisted on performing a mercifully short poem about how sad it was that Ian Dury passed away despite the fact he only had one best of compilation on CD which a friend had lent him. Track listing: I, Sexually Weird, Tight Fit Reunion Concert, Goodbye Mr. Dury Lineup: Prince Ash- Drums, Heave Spillage - Guitar, Arpaxx, Hammond , Papa Slack - Guitar, Bemble - Bass, Grebn - Vocals, Rich (Prince Of Darkness) - Vocals Interesting Fact: Catalogue of errors here - Bovington Camp is in Poole, not Bournemouth, and Tight Fit never split up. We were joined on this record by our first second guitarist Papa Slack who lasted nine shows. Favourite review: "Not content with their genious, the Beard go on to achieve demigod status" RECORD COLLECTOR |
