Information for IT Support Contract Clients

I am a contract support customer with an IT issue, how do I contact SCIP?

If you have a problem with any IT issue your first port of call is our helpdesk staff, you can;

  • call 08452 572907 (or extension 231 if  you are inside Community Base),
or

 

We  will try and resolve your query over the phone, by email or remotely as appropriate. If this is not possible then we will arrange for someone to visit you. We will discuss with you how urgent the issue is and will either turn out straight away, make an appointment with you or if the issue is small and non-urgent we will defer it for your next housekeeping visit. Even with these small issues please report them to us at an early stage, a small problem may give us warning of a larger underlying problem, it also allows our staff to research your problem before the visit and allows them to arrive ready to sort it as quickly as possible. Please don't ambush our techies with a list as they walk through the door. Thank you.

 

What are housekeeping visits

We will come round once a month/quarter to check on your systems and carry out a number of routine maintenance tasks to keep your network running smoothly. It is also a great time to sort any minor non-urgent support issues or niggles that are outstanding.
